When you typ "bonuskaart" into Google, you will find a lot of reactions towards the "bonuskaart" from Albert Heijn. With this card you can get discount on selected items from Albert Heijn. In exchange for this discount Albert Heijn registers all the groceries that you buy. Albert Heijn makes a profile for every customer, because when you register for a "bonuskaart" you have to fill in your name, adress, etc.
The reactions that you get on the internet are not always that positive, or better said, most are negative. Nobody wants to be registered, and a lot of people want to remain al little anonymous. A new plan of customers is now to exchange your "bonuskaart" with someone else's "bonuskaart". The system of profiles will then be out of control. The effect of the profiles in combination with the "bonuskaart" will be gone. The system will be confused.
So what do you think? Would you take someone else's card in exchange for your card? I don't mind being registered, and also getting discount for that. Is it really a problem that Albert Heijn knows what you are buying? People could also think about the fact that Albert Heijn will be able to make personal offers in the future, and that all because of the "bonuskaart"
